Condolence From: Karen Joeckle
Condolence: I first met Ruth when I was 19 years old and we remained friends throughout the past 53 years despite the fact that for the vast majority of that time we were were not living near each other.

I was truly blessed to be able to arrange to accompany Ruth to her niece's wedding in Connecticut last year. It was especially heartwarming to be able to share such a wonderful event with Ruth and her family. It was so nice seeing how happy Ruth was to be with Susan & Diane on their special day as well as visiting with other family members she had not seen for quite some time.

I'll always remember the photos of all of Ruth's nieces & nephews which adorned her refrigerator. She was so proud to point out each one by name every time I visited her. Too many for me to remember, for sure.

Ruth truly treasured and loved all of her family members. Hope they all have fun, wonderful memories of times they spent with her over the years.

I will always treasure the fact that I had such a wonderful friend in my life and will miss being able to call and talk to Ruth every weekend.

I'm so glad that Ruth is now in heaven with Bruce and that they will be together for eternity.
