Obituary for George Bryan

George  Bryan
George Albert Bryan, 95, of Barefoot Bay, Fl, passed away December 14, 2017. He was born March 22, 1922 to Roscoe and Ethel Bryan in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He married Mildred Ruth Anthony on June 24, 1944 and they lived in Suffern, New York for over 40 years before retiring to Florida in 1990.

During World War II he served in the Armey Technical Service Unit Corps of Engineers in the Manhattan District in Los Alamos, New Mexico and had his own construction business in Rockland County, NY for over 30 years. He was active in the American Legion in Suffern, NY and in the Lion’s Club and Concordia Lutheran Church in Florida.

He was predeceased by his wife Mildred and is survived by his son William Bryan (wife Susan) of Glens Falls, NY, his daughter Patricia Bryan of Rochester, NY, his daughter Donna Borchsenius of Barefoot Bay, FL and 3 grandchildren, Adam and Matthew Dingman and Tracy Borchsenius.

A memorial service will be planned for 2018 and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion or the Concordia Lutheran Church, 300 Barefoot Bay Blvd, Micco, FL 32976.
